FREE Walking groups
A great way to meet new people, explore your area, improve health, and it’s free!
There are two walk and talk groups within Tamar Valley National Landscape.
These groups are of a ‘medium ability’ level, many walks being quite energetic and lasting over 1.5 hours over varying terrain.
There is also a social walking group, with health and wellbeing in mind.

Be prepared
- All walkers participate at their own risk, therefore it is your responsibility to be fully prepared for the walk.
- Be aware that routes may be muddy and conditions can change so wear appropriate footwear and comfortable clothing. A walking stick is useful too.
- Also consider bringing a drink and snack, should you require it, particularly for longer walks.
- Toilet facilities may not be available.
- All walks may be subject to change/cancelled.
