Artist of the Month mini exhibition – Anne Marie Furse

Anne-Marie Furse will be showing a mini exhibition at the Tamar Valley Centre between the 5th May and the 29th May 2026. The exhibition can be found in the visitors section next to the interactive screen.

Anne-Marie works from her studio near Saltash. With a background in adult education, she runs art workshops in Saltash Studios. She has regular exhibitions across Wales, Devon and Cornwall.

She is a landscape artist, children’s book illustrator and printmaker. She finds endless inspiration in the landscape and history of Dartmoor and seeks to create vibrant and atmospheric pieces that capture the essence of the place. She makes her own pigments from foraged rock from Devon and Cornwall and loves the authenticity of painting with local, natural materials.

Through her art, she tells the story of a place often through poetry which then inspires her creativity. She hopes to share her love for Dartmoor and inspire others to appreciate nature’s beauty.
