Discover Tavistock – The Wharves

Short, flat walk, to visit the five wharves at the head of Tavistock Canal, largely hidden from public today, but were once major sites of activity for transporting minerals, ores and goods from the town to the River Tamar at Morwellham.

Notes: please wear suitable footwear and outer clothing, and bring water.
