South Hooe Cottage farmland nature trail - explore once a month

The South Hooe Cottage farmland nature trail is open on the first Saturday of every month for walkers to enjoy.

Take some time out and experience the peace and quiet of this beautiful area on the Bere peninsula.

We’d love to hear which butterflies you spot in the flower-rich meadows, and look out for the dragonflies along the hedgerows that border the recently-created wetland.

The 2-mile route is open from dawn until dusk. Sorry, no dogs due to wading birds on the site.

Dates for the rest of this year are:

6 July, 3 August, 7 September, 5 October, 2 November and 7 December.
